Braided Women Gathering is a charitable trust that focuses on safe, inclusive events. Our main event is an annual three day retreat held over Show weekend (Mid-November) in Waitaha, Canterbury that involves circles, ritual, dance, song, play and nourishment for both body and soul.

The practice of non-judgmental listening and silent acknowledgement of my own feelings and those of others is an essential skill to polish and develop and we need more. • A beautiful venue nestled within native forest in the Canterbury foothills

• Warm gathering spaces, bunkroom accommodation, and camping areas for tents and campervans
• Opportunities for music, dance, creativity, play, and connection
• Space and time to remember and reclaim the power of women’s togetherness

• A safe, respectful environment free from drugs and alcohol

rising Sacred Feminine, embracing her sovereign self and the wisdom she carries within.
